About Us — The Helper
The Helper is a non-profit organization committed to serving underprivileged and vulnerable communities, especially in the remote and mountainous regions of Chitral. Our mission is to bring positive change in society through education, skill development, and humanitarian support. We strongly believe that every individual deserves equal opportunities in life, regardless of their financial or geographical limitations.
One of the major challenges faced by people in Chitral is the lack of access to quality educational facilities in remote areas. Most schools, colleges, and educational institutions are located in Chitral city, making it difficult for students from distant villages to continue their studies. To overcome this issue, The Helper provides a completely free hostel facility in Chitral city. This initiative allows deserving students to live comfortably near their educational institutions without worrying about accommodation costs. As a result, many students are able to continue their education and build a brighter future.
In addition to education, The Helper is also dedicated to empowering women through skill development. For this purpose, we have established sewing and embroidery centers in different areas of Chitral. These centers provide professional training to women, enabling them to learn practical skills that help them earn a livelihood. Through this initiative, women become financially independent and are able to support their families with dignity and confidence.
